The Regal finished about mid-pack in this category, said Consumer Reports' Jake Fisher. If that doesn't impress you, this might: It outscored a BMW 328.
So far, the magazine has only tested a non-turbocharged Regal. The turbo version recently joined the test fleet, and is expected to do even better.
Consumer Reports can't recommend the Regal yet, though, because it hasn't collected enough data on its reliability.
